Partnership
Partnerships
Explore a corporate partnership with the Regina Apostolorum Foundation Hong Kong, and get inspiration for how we can work together.
As well as raising vital funds to support students and educational programmes, we will raise awareness amongst your colleagues - furthering workplace fundraising initiatives and creating a powerful lasting legacy. Working with others helps to make our work more powerful. Working with corporate partners helps us to raise awareness of the numerous educational programmes and initiatives available .
With every new partnership, we put our mission and our values first.
General principles
-
Partnering with a company does not imply Regina Apostolorum Foundation Hong Kong's approval of a product or policy.
-
Nor does it mean that the Foundation will advocate on a company's behalf. Our name or logo cannot be used in any way that contradicts this principle.
-
If partners use the Foundation's logo or quote us in any communications, partners must submit the material to the Foundation in advance for approval.
-
Partners and the Foundation will sign a formal agreement for every partnership. (For example, a commercial participator agreement.)
-
Partners don't need to give an up-front payment or set a minimum staff fundraising target to support the Foundation.
-
We will list the Foundation's key corporate partners in our annual review.
We apply the following conditions to each of our corporate partnerships:
Ethical policy
The Foundation won’t accept support that could compromise who we are and what we do.
The Foundation will undertake due diligence research. This makes sure any potential relationship is in line with our ethical policy and principles. This process looks at the nature of the proposed relationship and what's in the best interest for the Foundation and our beneficiaries. The appraisal process will also consider whether a potential partner:
1
Is known to discriminate against people.
2
Has a poor record on equality and racism.
3
Or generally has a poor ethical record.
Situations where there's legitimate concern include, but aren't limited to, companies that are:
-
Receiving the majority of their income from pharmaceutical companies.
-
Promoting gambling or risky behaviour around money.
-
Heavily promoting flexi payment schemes.
-
Debt management companies.
-
Welfare-to-work providers.
-
Producing tobacco or nicotine products.
-
Part of the alcohol industry.
-
Manufacturing weapons.
-
Political organisations.
-
Private healthcare companies.
-
Weight loss or dieting companies.
-
Short-term loan providers or pay day lenders.
Being on the above list doesn’t necessarily mean your company can’t work with the Foundation. But there'll be restrictions on what we can do together. We also know all companies, and therefore all partnerships, are unique. If you want to discuss something a bit different to what we’ve done before, then please do get in touch.
How can we work together?
-
Staff fundraising and strategic partnerships.
-
Staff fundraising or “Charity of the Year” partnerships.
-
Host memorable events, take on inspiring challenges, boost company culture and commradery, all while raising vital funds to support the Regina Apostolorum Foundation Hong Kong. Your company could host a series of engaging staff fundraising activities over the course of a year, or several years. And every fundraising activity has the added benefit of raising awareness of educational opportunities.
-
We will support you with partnership planning, engaging your staff, providing fundraising ideas, donation details, and promotion via our social media channels.
Strategic
-
Align your company’s strategic objectives with the Foundation's own strategy.
-
Through a corporate gift, or combination of donation and staff fundraising, your company could fund or develop a specific area of the Foundation's work in education and culture.
-
A strategic partnership can also focus on using your company’s resources to help us reach a wider audience and provide a greater number of educational opportunities and the information and support applicants may need.
Brand and commercial partnerships
-
Use the power of your brand to support the Foundation.
-
You could take a hero product to the next level by selling it ‘in aid of the Regina Apostolorum Foundation Hong Kong’, with each item sold generating a donation to the Foundation.
-
You could run a campaign, supported by the Foundation, to raise awareness of the Foundation.
