Pontifical Scholarship

This fund will be able to support the formation of both ‍clergy and lay people engaged in the evangelization of culture.

Donations made as generic scholarships will go into this fund.
The scholarships are intended for students who would like to study at the Pontifical Athenaeum in Rome, and who participate in the evangelization of culture.

Evangelizing culture is not only our mission but the Church’s mission because “a faith that does not become culture is a faith not fully accepted, not entirely thought out, not faithfully lived” (St. John Paul II).

Sacred Heart

These scholarships are intended for religious of the Legionaries of Christ who are being trained before priestly ordination and who are studying at the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum in Rome.

Students who demonstrate particular merit in the evangelization of culture, often displayed through the use of social media networks, engagement with influencers or thanks to their publications and followers, share the love of Christ with the world.

In addition to the scholarship amount, applicants are able to apply for a further € 1,000 for the purchase of material that can be helpful for their respective evangelizing mission in social networks or publications.

Good Samaritan

If you feel drawn or called to join the ranks of Good Samaritans, we invite you to respond generously. Pope Francis speaking on this parable of the Good Samaritan, reminds us that:

‍“the parable eloquently presents the basic decision we need to make in order to rebuild our wounded world. In the face of so much pain and suffering, our only course is to imitate the Good Samaritan. … All of us have a responsibility for the wounded, those of our own people and all the peoples of the earth. Let us care for the needs of every man and woman, young and old, with the same fraternal spirit of care and closeness that marked the Good Samaritan.” (Pope Francis, Fratelli Tutti).

These scholarships are intended for students who, due to economic difficulties, can not afford to continue their studies.

Funds for Ukraine

In early 2022 the Board of the Regina Apostolorum Foundation “… created the Education Fundfor Ukraine as heartfelt response to the plight of our dear Ukrainian brothers and sisters, refugees and citizens.”

In support of this initiative the cycling charity ‘Tour to France’ associated with the Pontifical Athanaeum Regina Apostolorum, have raised funds over the past two years by cycling from the Vatican’s StPeter’s Square to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of La Salette. Funds are raised through online sponsorship and through social media.
